The Turks and Caicos Islands are a British Overseas Territory consisting of the larger Caicos Islands and smaller Turks Islands.
These two groups of tropical islands are located in the Lucayan Archipelago of the Atlantic Ocean, just southeast of the Bahamas island chain. Grand Turk is an island with rich history, stunning beaches, abundant wild life and tons of old world feel. |

At Grand Turk, diving means one thing – “the wall”
The Island of Grand Turk is small, measuring only 7 miles long and 1 mile wide. But size doesn’t matter when you’ve got the 3rd largest Barrier Reef in the world located directly in front of your resort! This means the boat rides to the famous ‘Grand Turk Wall’ are short! Step into your dive boat at Bohio’s beach and arrive at 'the wall' moments later.

In Chris Santella’s book of the World’s Greatest Destinations, Mitch Rolling states “People come to Grand Turk to dive the wall, plain and simple.” There are few diving destinations around the world more associated with wall diving than Grand Turk.
'The wall' is situated on the sheltered leeward side of the island meaning that very few diving days are lost. The visibility on the wall and surrounding reefs is excellent, averaging a hundred feet or more. Macro and invertebrate life is quite rich thanks to the health of the reef.
It's for these reasons and more that Grand Turk is listed as one of the
’50 Places to Dive Before You Die’.

Let's Go Diving ...
The dive boat goes out at 9 am each day directly from the beach at the resort. Which means... you can stay up late gazing at the stars, sleep in, have that 2nd cup of coffee, AND still make it to the boat on time! It's vacation, not BootCamp!
The boat departs around 11 am (or so) for the second dive. When you return, your lunch is ready!

All surface intervals are enjoyed back at Bohio. What you do is your choice... enjoy another coffee, kickback on the sun deck, or take a quick nap! The restaurant staff will meet you at this time and take your lunch order. |

The boat is loaded and unloaded for you each day and equipment is rinsed and hung up for you in the dive shop. The dive boats are for in house guests only. The dive masters are reserved for you the entire time and provide a briefing each day on the dive boat, a guided tour of each site and plenty of time for divers to explore on their own as well. |

Gibbs Cay Adventure
Book a Robinson Crusoe-style island tour for an afternoon of adventure and fun. Gibbs Cay is an uninhabited island lying just off of Grand Turk’s southeast tip and is an ideal location for snorkeling, photography, and beachcombing.
This is an optional adventure that can be arranged at Bohio after we arrive. The cost depends on how many people would like to participate.

Whale Watching in Grand Turk
The North Atlantic Humpback Whale migrates through the warm Caribbean waters of Grand Turk each year to mate and give birth. Whale watching excursions run from late January to mid April and offer the opportunity to view Humpback whales and their calves up close.
