The Revillagigedo Islands (Spanish:Islas Revillagigedo,) or Revillagigedo Archipelago are a group of four volcanic islands in the Pacific Ocean, known for their unique ecosystem.
The Archipelago de Revillagigedo,
(pronounced: Ray Vee Ya Hee Hay Dough) is situated south of Cabo San Lucas. It is made up of the islands of Socorro, Clarion, San Benedicto and the Islote Roca Partida.
 
The Revillagigedos Islands are more commonly known to English speakers as the Socorro Islands.

To get to this world class dive destination, we’ll travel in comfort aboard the 140 ft Socorro Vortex. It takes approximately 24 hours to travel 390 kilometers southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula.

​This iconic dive destination contains one of the largest aggregations of sharks and manta rays in the world, as well as tuna, humpback whales, and five species of sea turtles.

​In mid-January, February, March and the beginning of April the water varies between around 70F – 74F. 

The humpback whales visit Socorro during these cooler water months. You might hear these gentle giants singing on your dives.

Underwater encounters with these whales are increasing every year.

This is a wonderland for large Pelagic species including Hammerheads, Silky, and SilverTip Sharks, Dolphins and Humpbacks, and large oceanic Manta Rays. ​

  • national park user fees specifically forGuadalupe and Revillagigedo (Socorro) National Parks. The new fee is $1,500 pesos per day per guest,approximately $81 USD per day (x6). Fee to be paid prior to departure at the exchange rate of the day if it is paid in USD.
